'On Assignment': Climbing Yosemite with Adventure Photographer Jimmy Chin by Luke Cartledge

Jimmy Chin takes us with him on an assignment for National Geographic, following the climbing community living at Yosemite National Park. The video shows the lengths that he goes to to capture such stunning shots in exceptional circumstances. In doing so it provides a beautifully different perspective of the park and the people there.

Yosemite stands as one of those places on Earth that I would give body-parts to see.

Striking Long Exposure Shots from Japanese Trains by Luke Cartledge

High key wave These are just a few shots from a stunning series by Flickr user Céline Ramoni, taken on various train lines around Japan. The speed of the trains has allowed a large amount of motion blur even in full daylight. I particularly like the ghosts of more stationary distant structures and the feeling of travelling too fast through a 'Bladerunner' inspired future.
